Terms of Sale
We stock most of the components used in our systems. The brand of parts we stock may vary with availability. Please
call us if you have questions on the specifications of these items. Our average delivery time on custom-built systems (1 to 4 units) is 3
to 5 working days. For orders of more than 4 units and for computers containing special order peripherals, please call for estimated
Net terms are available only after 6 consecutive months of business history with us and on a successful credit approval. We accept cash
checks drawn towards a local bank, credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). A $25 service fee is charged on all returned checks. Our prices
do not include shipping or Hawaii general excise tax. Special order items require a 50% non-refundable deposit to place the order. These items,
if non-defective, can not be returned for a refund or credit.
PDC Limited Warranty
PDC stands by all of the products that we sell and our services. Please review the following warranty terms and
information. If you have further questions, please call us at 808-537-1234.
PDC-branded personal computers come with a 3-year limited warranty. The following sections describe the limited warranty.
What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your PDC branded computer.
What is not covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty does not cover:
Software, including the operating system and software added to the PDC-branded hardware products
through our factory-integration system, third-party software, or the reloading of software
Products and accessories not installed at the time of the purchase of the PDC-branded personal computer
Problems that result from:
· External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power
· Servicing not authorized by PDC
· Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions
· Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance
· Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by PDC
· Products with missing or altered PDC serial numbers
· Products for which PDC has not received payment
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). PDC's RESPONSIBILITY
FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED
WARRANTY PERIOD REFLECTED ON YOUR PACKING SLIP OR INVOICE. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY
FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. OUR LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT
YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE.
How long does this limited warranty last?
This limited warranty lasts for the time period indicated on your packing slip or invoice, except for the following:
Portable, laptop, notebook and netbook computers are covered by the manufacturer of the portable, laptop, notebook or netbook computer.
The limited warranty for monitors purchased with a system are covered by the manufacturer of the monitor.
The limited warranty on all PDC-branded personal computers begins on the date of the packing slip or invoice. The warranty period is not extended if we repair or replace
a warranted product or any parts.
What do I do if I need warranty service?
Before the warranty expires, please contact PDC and have your PDC serial number available.
What will PDC do?
DURING THE FIRST 30 DAYS:
During the first 30 days of the limited warranty, we will repair any PDC-branded personal computer returned to us that proves to be defective in materials or
workmanship. If we are not able to repair the product, we will replace it with a comparable product that is new or refurbished.
During the first 30 days of the limited warranty, PDC will, without charge, reinstall the personal computer’s Operating System, service packs, patches, application
software and updates purchased from PDC at the time the personal computer was purchased. Installation of other software, drivers, patches and updates shall be at

is lost or damaged in shipment. We will return the repaired or replacement products to you. We will pay to ship the repaired or replaced products to you if your
address is on Oahu. Otherwise, we will ship the part to you freight collect.
If we determine that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any confidential,
proprietary, or personal information and removable media such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary, or
personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
AFTER THE FIRST 30 DAYS:
For the remaining period of the limited warranty, we will replace any defective part with new or refurbished parts, if we agree that it needs to be replaced. We will
not charge you for the replacement part as long as you return the original part to us within 10 days after we ship the replacement part to you. If we do not receive the
original part within 10 days, we will charge to your credit card the then-current standard price for that part. If your address is not on Oahu, we will ship the part to
you freight collect.
Within the first year after purchase, we will, without charge, perform a one time reinstallation of the personal computer’s Operating System, service packs, patches,
application software and updates purchased from PDC at the time the personal computer was purchased. Installation of other software, drivers, patches, and updates shall be
at customer’s expense. All subsequent installations of the Operating System, drivers and/or software shall be at customer’s expense.
NOTE: Before you replace parts, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). We are not responsible for lost or corrupted data.
What if I purchased a service contract?
If you have a service contract with PDC, service will be provided to you under the terms of the service agreement.
Does PDC provide on-site or after-hours warranty service?
Unless your service contract with PDC provides otherwise, you must ship or bring the product to PDC for service at your expense. Service provided outside of business hours (business
hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm weekdays) or at the customer’s site will be billed at PDC’s prevailing service rate for time and travel.
How will you fix my product?
We use new and refurbished parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and in building replacement parts and systems. Refurbished parts and systems are parts
or systems that have been returned to PDC, some of which were never used by a customer. All parts and systems are inspected and tested for quality. Replacement parts and systems are
covered for the remaining period of the limited warranty for the product you bought. PDC owns all parts removed from repaired products.
May I transfer the limited warranty?
Limited warranties on systems may not be transferred.
Do these limited warranty terms and conditions apply to PDC-branded servers?
The limited warranty terms and conditions apply to all PDC-branded workstations and servers. “PDC-branded” means a PC workstation or server bearing the PDC logo and PDC serial number. “PDC”
and “PDC Systems” are the registered trademarks or tradenames of the Ahmed Corporation.
Returns and Restocking Fees
PDC values our relationship with you and offers a return policy for PDC branded personal computers that you purchased from PDC. Under this policy,
you may return to PDC, within the first ten days after purchase, PDC branded personal computers that you purchased directly from PDC for a credit or
a refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees; no refunds on opened application software.
Unless the product is defective or the return is a direct result of a PDC error, a restocking fee of 15% may be charged on hardware, accessories, peripherals,
parts and unopened software still in its/their sealed package.
How to Return:
To return products, you must contact PDC customer service for a Return Authorization. You must ship or deliver the products to PDC within seven (7)
days of the date that PDC authorizes its return.
Note: Before you ship the product(s) to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove
any confidential, proprietary or personal information, removable media, such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your
confidential, proprietary or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
Products this warranty applies to:
The above stated warranty terms and conditions do not apply to Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony or any other desktop or portable computer system sold by PDC
that is not a PDC branded computer. A PDC branded computer is a device that bears a PDC serial number. Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony and other branded
desktop or portable computer systems are covered by the warranty of their respective manufacturer.
Shipments are sent by the carrier, class and method requested by customers. We may substitute UPS or FEDEX for USPS service
depending on destination at no additional cost to the customer. We cannot guarantee or be held responsible for in transit delivery times or service
guidelines established by USPS, UPS, or FedEx or any other common carrier. Furthermore, we are not liable for shipment delays, lost shipments, stolen mail,
clerical or typographical errors by customers during the order entry process, inclement weather, customs impounds or any other in transit delivery
problem once a shipment has left our distribution facilities and is in the possession of a designated common carrier.
PDC Systems (PDC) is not responsible for the preservation of customer’s
data in electronic format. Customer represents and warrants that customer has a verified
complete backup of customer’s data on another device. Customer accepts full responsibility for
ensuring that customer has a verified complete backup of customer’s data on another device.
Customer releases PDC, its officers, employees, consultants and agents, from any and all
claims arising in any way from the preservation and/or content of customer’s data. No part
of this disclaimer may be modified in any way without the express written consent of PDC.
